[Madlug] suse 9.1 sound problems

I recently upgraded my linux box at work and put suse 9.1 on it (I had had 9.0
on the last box). Things seem pretty nifty except for 2 problems: the age-old
Belkin KVM "crazy mouse" problem (worse than the standard wheel mouse "imps/2"
problem, possibly because of 2.6), and the fact that my sound doesn't work.

Everything about the sound seems to be right except for, you know, actual sound.
