[Madlug] lenny sound

Hi,

I upgraded from Debian Etch to Lenny recently without any problem.  But
yesterday I noticed that I lost Openoffice, so installed it.  Now I don't
have sound.  I can hear mp3 files but no sounds on YouTube.

I ran alsaconf as root; checked alsamixer to make sure that the sound levels
are up and unmuted; ran cat /dev/urandom > /dev/audio, it works for root.

What could be the problem?  Can someone help me?  Thank you.
